West African Dance: Workshops, and Live Shows Now Open For Registration
This Black History Month, A Weekend of West African Dance presents Kofago Dance Ensemble and FANIKE! African Dance.
Take advantage of the early-bird pricing! Come and join us for a vibrant celebration of West African dance and culture at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center (153-10 Jamaica Avenue).
First, we're hosting interactive dance workshops on February 17 and February 18. Then, on February 27 and February 28, you can catch the dance companies in action, on stage!
Both the workshops and the performances are led by Kofago Dance Ensemble and FANIKE! African Dance Troupe.
