Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning offers many different spaces in our two buildings for rent.
At our headquarters (161-04 Jamaica Avenue)—a five-floor, 45,000-square-foot landmark building that was once the Queens Registry of Titles and Deeds—we offer a pair of art galleries, rehearsal spaces for dance and theater, music practice rooms, visual arts studios (including ceramics and animation), a 3D digital art lab, and a 99-seat black-box proscenium theater.
At our state-of-the-art Jamaica Performing Arts Center (153-10 Jamaica Avenue)—housed in the landmark 1858 First Reformed Dutch Church—we offer a 400-seat, multi-functional performance space that can be configured to accommodate a wide array of events, from theater, and music/dance performances, to fashion shows and film shoots, to corporate conferences and worship services, to festivals and galas. At JPAC, we offer full-service front- and back-of-house amenities, management and support staff, a “sky-box” conference room and a multi-purposes rehearsal and performance spaces.
