JCAL Arts Classes Spring Semester Open for Registration
Here's a reminder that JCAL Arts Classes are open for registration! Classes begin on Saturday, February 28, and our free open house is on February 7.
To ensure that classes are affordable and accessible, we're offering a 15% Early bird discount until February 6. In addition, registrants get an extra 10% off for purchasing more than one class together. Lastly, we now offer the option to pay for classes in two installments.
Our classes are now run through Amilia, and registrants will be required to make an account. This is a quick, one-time process that allows registrants to access all of their registrations, payments, and related details in one place.

JCAL Arts Classes Open House will feature workshops with Professional Teaching Artists. Attendees will get a hands-on feel for each of our classes as our teaching artists lead interactive workshops.

Turn your drawings into dynamic stories and characters that leap off the page! This engaging and creative class invites artists to explore the exciting worlds of cartooning and comic book creation.
The ultimate goal of this course is for students to create a complete, original comic book utilizing text and sequential artwork to either tell a story or visually address a theme.
Piano Beginner and Intermediate
Children & Teen/Adult Classes Available
This fun, interactive course is tailored to music enthusiasts with little to no prior piano experience. Through games, hands-on practice, and playful exploration of music theory, students will build confidence and start their journey to becoming little maestros! Each session is packed with engaging activities and is just the right length (45 minutes) to keep students focused and inspired.
Drawing and Painting
Children & Teen/Adult Classes Available
This class introduces artists to the magical world of drawing and painting, exploring everything from watercolor and acrylics to pen and ink, collage, and printmaking.
Students will dive into fun, hands-on projects that spark their imaginations while learning essential art skills like color mixing, composition, and creating their own masterpieces. Whether painting bold strokes or sketching fine details, every child will discover the joy of self-expression through art.
