This informative workshop will be a round table discussion about different fabrics and their uses and how it has evolved over time. It will include PowerPoint, live demonstrations, and discussions with the audience.

From the Teaching Artist:

Born in New York and raised in Nigeria, Kenya and Brazil. I am constantly inspired by my African and South American upbringing. My Love for fashion led me to return back to New York upon graduating High school in Brazil to pursue a degree in fashion design from the acclaimed Fashion Institute of technology. While working as a teaching assistant in College I discovered a passion for teaching fashion. Upon graduating in 2011 I worked and interned at a few New York based international fashion houses such as Catherine Malandrino and Kosibah. In 2017 after showing a collection at NY Small boutique fashion week, I decided to break out on my own to work on my brand Indo Lami and further my passion for teaching fashion design.
