Queens International Children’s Festival
Free Family Fun Including Live Entertainment
and Interactive Workshops
April 21st, 2025 (New York) — Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning (JCAL) is thrilled to announce this year’s Queens International Children’s Festival, a free event that brings together high-quality arts performances and activities to inspire children and families to enjoy the arts. On May 17th from 12 pm - 5 pm at Rufus King Park (150-29 Jamaica Ave), the fun-filled activities will include live music and dance performances, interactive workshops, arts and crafts, a bouncy house, mini golf, and more.
Queens International Children’s Festival will offer a diverse lineup of entertainment, which reflects the rich cultural landscape of the borough. The festivities will kick off with games and inflatables, followed by a performance by Batingua Drum Company.
At 1 pm, a cultural storytelling performance will take place, led by Black Cowboy Indigenous and African Cultural Center Inc. Other performances include a Magic Show by Eric Q, and a rich display of Indian Dance by Jiva Dance company. The festival will close with an interactive Zumba session with Veronica Caicedo, and a Steel orchestra presentation by Pan Evolution.
An interactive Art Station will be available throughout, along with popcorn, cotton candy, and more.
