Utsa Hazarika is a cultural worker, artist and writer based in Queens, New York. She has over a decade of engagement with community-based research, advocacy and education. She has worked on art education programs at Artreach India, ArtistYear, The New School Art Collection, and the CASA Teaching Residency, among others. Her art and writing has been exhibited and published internationally, and she has been awarded residencies and fellowships in Asia and the United States. She holds an MFA in Fine Arts from The New School and an MPhil in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge.
