Harish Raghavan is an Indian American jazz bassist. His music combines aspects of Indian classical music and jazz. The first instrument he picked up was the mridangam, but he switched to the upright bass at the age of 16.

For more than a decade, bassist-composer Harish Raghavan has helped lay the foundation for a thriving generation of artists.
