Lights, Camera, Action!

January 28th, February 4th, February 11th

The class will provide a “bootcamp” style introduction to Digital Media Arts insight and aptitude. End Goal: Create and present conscious, original digital video and/or montage content from concept through completion.

Via STEAM infused measures, student participants learn to tap their individual learning styles, explore storytelling tools, and career tract possibilities via hands- on immersive digital media production experience using digital cameras or smartphones.

New Threads, Old Fabric: A Clothing Restoration Workshop

January 28th, February 4th, February 11th

This workshop, taught by Indo Aboki will educate students on the physical process of restoring old clothing, through learning how to work with various fabrics, how to apply different techniques to your restoration such as patching, sewing, with a needle and thread as well as with a machine, and various other specific methods. In addition, to being instructed on the process, students will bring in and be provided with the materials to apply their skills and restore their own clothing!

The Art of Social Media

This Content Creation Workshop introduces emerging artist, influencers, and the general population to the how-to of creating a social media persona and brand. A three-session workshop focused on creating, editing, and marketing content for three separate social media platforms: Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Whether you’re an emerging influencer, film director, writer, or singer this is a great opportunity to learn how to showcase your talents.
